In this introduction to momentum on aerial hoop you will learn about the fundamental physics behind what we do on hoop and how to harness those properties to our advantage to “work smarter not harder.” Skills covered range from basic pike/plank beats, through rolls and half release tricks. Special attention will be on how body shaping affects the momentum of a skill.

Length: 1.5 hours

Prerequisites: Students must be able to pull-over into the hoop and have healthy shoulders that are ready for dynamic loading.
